React Job: IT Applications Specialist

Job Summary:

As IT Applications Specialist, your mission will be to provide support to users and make sure they possess IT tools and systems as needed, to ensure that team members carry out their work at the highest level. Also, you will lead small projects, work with other managers for process improvement, as well as implement new tools and systems, contributing to the growth and success of ZimVie.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  Participate in software development activities (mobile, web, desktop), collaborating in activities such as user documentation tasks, business process analysis, or software life cycle.
• Provide IT knowledge and support in software validation exercises, in a both local and global perspective.
• Manage CAD/CAM/MES and other Quality and Manufacturing applications.
• Carry out the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, according to local needs and guidelines.
• Proactively reinforce local and global IT security policies to ensure protection of equipment, networks, programs, and internal data from unintended or unauthorized access, change, or destruction.
• Actively cooperate in the innovation and continuous improvement of the business by participating in digital transformation projects.
• Take part in global IT projects to promote the standardization of IT tools.
• Provide support and collaborate with the End User Computing (EUC) team.

Education/Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate should meet the requirements for this role, so what we expect from you is:

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position, especially in manufacturing and a multinational environment.
• Experience in software and app development, agile methodologies, requirements gathering and user support.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
• Deep understanding of C# .Net Framework, WPF, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server is a must. Other programming tools as Bootstrap, GIT, jQuery are an asset.
• Also, knowledge in the following areas are a plus: Azure, Cloud: SaaS-IaaS-PaaS, Angular – ReactJS, DevOps, .NET Core, Scrum, Manufacturing / Operations Environment, Industry 4.0 - MES – IoT, PowerBI, Oracle Fusion Cloud or any other ERP.
• Experience with Software Validations/Software professional Testing tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a team environment and to build effective working relationships.
• Results orientation, with proven ability to deliver results on-time and on-budget.
• Demonstrated success leading IT projects of low-to-medium complexity at the regional or local level.
• Strong interpersonal, influence and communication skills (written/verbal/presentation) at multiple levels.
• Strong analytical, organizational, critical thinking and win-win negotiation skills.
• Willingness to embrace change and adapt to new circumstances, a winning attitude and instills a passion for winning with other team members, an attitude which is demonstrated by a “can do” approach.
• Demonstrate excellent project management and work planning skills; must be able to multitask effectively.
